This antique library desk has been refinished in French Linen chalk paint (AS), distressed and coated with clear wax. The top has been stained dark walnut and coated with poly. This desk is probably the best find we have ever scored when it comes to desks. Our pickers did an AMAZING job when they found this beauty. Aileen couldn't let it sit for too long in our shop, I think it was there for all of two minutes, before we decided what we wanted to do with it. It's so beautiful it looks like it should belong to someone important....or here's a better thought, if you buy it you might feel like you are some one important. Either way, you will feel good about yourself because: a. you think you are important(it's good to be confident!) or b:you just feel important(it's great when you feel good!). It's a win-win and now you're important and feeling good.
