LIttle Miss Abby Bed

I'm calling this bed the "Little Miss Abby" bed. Once upon a time, there was a little girl who slept in this bed. Her name was Abby. How do I know? I had to sand out 3 hand carved "Abby" names from the headboard and one from the footboard. Someone really liked her name! It reminds me of the time my daughter tried to convince me that someone else wrote her name on the bathroom wall.  This bed has been refinished in antique white, distressed and coated with poly.

Not From the '70s Anymore Bench

Man, I wish you could have seen the before picture of this piece. It was so bad. The knobs were crooked, the seat had the most hideous '70s fabric you can imagine(it would have matched my family room growing up), and it was just so dated. This bench/chest has been refinished in French Linen chalk paint (AS), distressed and coated with clear wax. It would make the perfect bench for your front hall or mud room...don't pass this one up! I promise I will try to take some before pictures next time.
