This hutch has been refinished in light blue, distressed and coated with clear wax. Life lately has been full, not any fuller than any of your lives, but full. Celebrating Easter, kids having extra days off, there's been good, there's been bad, we've socialized, cleaned, been kept busy being momma's, we've helped family, we've cried, we've laughed. Work is a great distraction from everything that keeps us busy. Yes, it might add to our busyness, but we wouldn't trade it for anything. We get to be creative and we get to have fun (and man, do we ever laugh in the shop) a few days a week. It's working on pieces like this that make work exciting. This piece turned out just the way we were hoping it would. It's no longer dark and boring...it has life and colour and is fun!
