This buffet has been refinished in black, distressed and coated with poly. My mind has been officially changed...I now LOVE black buffets. This one is so elegant now that it isn't that ugly brown colour it once was. The hard ware on this piece is super pretty too. Maybe my level of elegance will rise now that I like elegant things like this buffet. I might be a little hopeless in that department.
