This dresser almost did me in this week. It had a few layers of paint that had some sort of texture added to it. I am not sure what the previous owners were thinking when they painted it like that! I did manage to sand off all those layers and we found a pretty sweet wooden top that would look fabulous stained, so that was a treat! We painted this dresser in light blue/grey paint and distressed it to show off it's character a little. The top have been stained dark walnut and coated with poly.
