This dresser has been refinished in charcoal grey. The top has been stained dark walnut and coated with poly. So at the beginning of the week, we had a completely different idea for this piece. Once we started working on it we realized that we needed to strip down the top in order for it be smooth enough for our standards. We were surprised that the top was still in such great shape so we decided to stain it to show it off a little. When it came time to paint it, we were running low on black paint(our original colour choice), so we thought we would try this charcoal grey instead. I am so glad our original idea didn't work out because this piece is absolutely stunning just the way it is.
