This dresser has been refinished in slate grey, distressed and coated with poly. You could use it in your bedroom or you could use it for a media stand in your family room. It probably would prefer your family room, it's a little show off and wants the world to see how amazing it is. Or you could put it in your bedroom and invite all your guests to see it in there, but that might get a little awkward.
