This chest has been refinished in Old White chalk paint (AS), distressed and coated with clear wax. The top has been stained dark walnut and coated with poly. This is the biggest chest we have ever seen and refinished. It's 4.5 feet long! I think we could fit all of Aileen's kids in here and probably a few of mine as well. Maybe we should keep it for next summer when they are all home again and we have 8 kids running around at work...okay, maybe not...it was just a fleeting thought. We would never actually do that! Maybe we will lock ourselves into it and the kids won't know where to look for us. It will be the longest hide and go seek game ever!
