The top has been stained dark walnut and coated with poly. The drawers are lined with vintage newspaper, which makes you awesome just for owning it. It has lots of storage and cute little door just to keep you on your toes. It matches two white side tables and a black dresser that we painted up this week as well, just in case you are looking for a whole set.
