I really thought this buffet had no hope. It was stained that cherry red colour and looked rather dated. We refinished it in antique white, distressed it and coated it with poly. The top has been stained dark walnut and coated with poly. What can I say...I have never met a refinished white buffet that I haven't liked. This one is definitely a keeper!
