I don't want to post this piece, because I don't want it to sell, because I want it for myself. Sigh...it's a problem...it happens every week. This week, I want this cabinet. This cabinet has been refinished in black. The shelves and door have been stained dark walnut and coated with poly. You should have seen this piece when we got it. It had some kind of lace edging on the shelves, there were glass doors and no hardware. Aileen grabbed this piece knowing I would be all over it when I saw it. I am in love with how it turned out. Perfect little thing. I will try not to be too jealous when it sells...maybe pick it up when I'm not in the shop, it might be easier for me that way.

I Say It All the Time Hutch

We're so excited to show you this hutch! It is probably one of the prettiest we've done. I know, I say that all the time, but each hutch we do is a little different than the one before. So they all look pretty, but for different reasons. The doors on the base of this piece are amazing. And we took out the yellow glass in the top doors and replaced it with some clear glass to brighten it up. We also had to knock out a few decorative railing things on the open shelving and fill holes to make those shelves more accessible and open. This hutch has been refinished in antique white and distressed. The top has been stained dark walnut and coated with poly. A lot of work goes into a piece like this, but we know it is all worth it in the end. We can't wait till this hutch finds a new home!

Won't Turn Down A Challenge Buffet

Aileen sent me a pic of this piece last weekend and asked me if it was salvageable. I rarely turn away a challenge so I told her that we could totally fix this piece right up. When I started sanding it I was a little overwhelmed, but I am glad I didn't stop...see, being stubborn does pay off...because this buffet is perfect now. This buffet has been refinished in charcoal and distressed. The top has been stained dark walnut and coated with poly. We added some new hardware to finish off it's new look.
