Stashed Away Dresser

This dresser has been refinished in Florence chalk paint (AS), distressed and coated with clear wax. The top has been stained dark walnut and coated with poly. This dresser was a sweet little find, but it has been stashed in the back shed where we couldn't reach it. Well, we (read Aileen and her man, I really had nothing to do with digging it out) dug it out and we finally got our hands on it. Now it looks nice and pretty.

This bed has been refinished in antique white paint and coated with poly. Yes, we picked up a sweet set this week. A dresser, desk and bed. They all turned out amazing! This bed is no exception. It's gorgeous. Fluff up your pillows, cozy up under that quilt you thrifted and snuggle in for the next few days. It's going to be way too cold for any human being to venture outside. It will be much wiser to spend Family Day weekend snuggled under your blanket, by yourself with your book. You might let your family in to bring you food and other necessities, just to be nice.

Someday, when I have a nice big dining room with an empty wall, I am going to buy a buffet just like this. Or I could take this one home today and put it in my kitchen. I might not be able to walk though my kitchen or use the side door, or open the pantry, but it will look pretty. I guess I better keep dreaming of a bigger house.
